CEOD Request for Mandatory CBL Education

In an effort to organize and standardize the Mandatory Competency & Education process, CEOD has developed a process to manage education requests.

Per CEOD Mandatory Education Policy, persons requesting Mandatory Competency & Education will obtain and complete Part 1 of the application . They will complete the form in its entirety and submit the application electronically to the administrator of the Mandatory Competency & Education Review Team.
  • If the team accepts the application, the Team administrator will send notification along with Part 2 of the application, which relates to Learning design and development.
  • All Subject Matter Experts will participate in a blended learning opportunity, prior to completing Part 2 of the application. This blended learning includes an E-learning module, tip sheets and a two- hour live session provided by the Educational TechnologyTeam in CEOD.
  • Employees in CEOD will be trained to serve as mentors for SMEs during the design phase.

Please review the Request for Education documentation and contact CEOD with any questions.

CEOD Room Reservation Waiver

There may be a time when CEOD has no recourse but to use a training room that you may have reserved.  We will make every effort to find another location for our training.  However, if we are unable to source another location, we will automatically let you know that your room reservation will be cancelled.  Additionally, we will make every effort to notify you in a timely manner.  We rarely expect this situation to arise.  However, in the event it does, we will abide by this waiver.

All decisions are at the discretion of the course coordinator.
If you have any questions concerning these cancellation and tardiness guidelines
please contact the CEOD by calling (304) 598-4045 or (304) 598-4063.
